A Dream That Began Long Before It Had a Name.
Hi, I’m Gabriela, the heart behind SELAH — A Gabriela Garcia Studio.
My love for the beauty industry began when I was just 12 years old. I still remember getting my hair done for the first time and how beautiful and special it made me feel. From that moment, I knew I wanted to give others that same feeling.
But my heart for helping others began even earlier.
Growing up, my dad taught me the importance of kindness, generosity, and caring for others. He was always willing to lend a hand, even to a complete stranger. Those are values I carry with me today and hope to reflect in everything I do.
In 2012, I became a licensed esthetician, and for the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of working in medical aesthetics, where I continue to grow, learn, and care for my patients.
What I’ve always loved most, though, goes beyond the treatments themselves.
It’s the connections. The conversations, the laughter, the quiet moments, and sometimes simply being a listening ear when someone needs one.
To me, every woman who sits in my chair is more than just an appointment.
For years, I’ve dreamed of creating something of my own. A place that reflects my passion for beauty, the values I was raised with, and the desire to make others feel genuinely cared for.
Through different seasons of life, my faith has continued to guide that dream. And now, with a grateful heart and trust in God’s timing, I’m taking the first steps toward bringing it to life.

A gentle reminder that in a world that constantly asks so much of us, it’s okay to slow down.
My vision is to create a peaceful space where women feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. Somewhere you can step away from the demands of everyday life, share a conversation, embrace the quiet, or simply enjoy a moment for yourself.
A place where natural beauty is celebrated and you leave feeling refreshed, beautiful, and renewed.
SELAH is beginning with Korean lash lifts, but the dream extends far beyond beauty treatments.
My prayer is that God continues to guide this journey and that SELAH becomes more than a place for beauty. A place where women feel seen, cared for, and reminded that they deserve a moment for themselves.
